Our Vision

God's vision for our city is that Melbourne might come to know and love Jesus - the one who knows and loves us. We exist to introduce people to Jesus and to help each other journey through life with Him. No matter your background, we'd love to introduce you to know Him and the life that he offers you.

Further Information

Lead Pastor

Tim is married to Belinda and father to four young children. He worked for the local government as a Town Planner before retraining for gospel ministry. He is a graduate of Moore Theological College (Syd) and Ridley College (Mel).

Edwin Chow

Edwin, passionate about faith and service, left his job as a music teacher for a ministry apprenticeship at Grace in 2016. As a Ridley College graduate, he was appointed Community Pastor full-time at Grace in 2022. He is married to Loon, and they welcomed their first child in 2023. Edwin strives to serve his community, share his faith, while caring for his young family.

Amanda Wang

Ministry Support Coordinator

Amanda graduated from her ministry apprenticeship at Grace in 2022 with an Academic Studies in Theology Certificate from Christ College, Sydney. She is married to Ian, and works part-time for the church and full-time as a mother.

Joel Grigg

student minister

Joel is in the second year of his three-year long Master of Divinity at Reformed Theological College, and as a student minister at Grace.

Ian Wang

MTS Ministry Apprentice

This is Ian’s second year in part-time ministry training as an apprentice at Grace. Until now, Ian has been working as a doctor but has grown increasingly aware that while medical work cares for the physical health and well-being of people made in God’s image, it ultimately does not achieve eternal, spiritual healing and salvation. Only God and his gospel can do that. Ian is growing in his conviction that all Christians are called to gospel ministry, and some are set aside to work as vocational gospel workers. He is exploring whether that might be him.

Ulla Fionna

MTS Ministry Apprentice

Ulla is also beginning her part-time ministry training journey as an apprentice at Grace. She is married to Verdi, and has 2 sons, Devon and Austin. Growing up in a nominal Christian home in Indonesia, it was a true blessing and awakening for her to finally understand the grace and mercy of our Lord at a later stage in life. As she enters this next life season, she want to be equipped better to serve God and be more Kingdom-minded so that others can understand this same grace and mercy.

Elders

Here at Grace, we believe it is both biblical and necessary to provide an added level of support and accountability in the church. An Elder has a significant responsibility to lead the congregation in spiritual matters and help pastoral staff maintain the health of the church.
